In addition to her own artistic practice, Lisa does freelance work as a recording engineer and producer. She primarily works out of her studio north of Toronto, Wildlife Sanctuary Sound, but has shadowed sessions in 2018 at Union Sound (w/ Leon Taheny, Josh Van Tassel, James Bunton, and Darren Mcgill), Lincoln County Social Club (w/ Heather Kirby), and Baldwin Street Sound (w/ Aaron Goldstein), and is open to working in other studios or alternative spaces. She primarily uses Protools 12 for tracking and mixing, and Ableton 10 for writing and live performance, but has a basic familiarity with Cubase, Garageband, and Audacity. With assistance from the Canada Council of the Arts, she plans to shadow more sessions in 2019 internationally, specifically in the US and Europe.

Lisa has been an instructor at Workman Arts for the past three semesters, teaching a self-designed course in songwriting, sound art, and recording, with an emphasis on creative practice.
